We loved staying at Coos Canyon Campground and plan on returning next year with the rest of our family! Cassie, James and Bob were so helpful and considerate of our first trip in our new RV and our first time staying there. Even our Jack Russell loved it. Definitely a 10 rating. Nearby activities: We explored Coos Canyon Campgrounds, the Swift River, the Canyon, the Rock and Gift Shop, the East Branch, The Height of the Land, and we saw a Bull Moose a Cow and the Calf on our way back.

A beautiful and cleanly ran family business. The campsites are along the main branch of the proven placer gold deposits of the swift river. The site is located along some beautiful canyon walls, however, access to the gorgeous river is easy. A very peaceful and quite spot with lots of scenery to explore, swimming holes to play in with the kids, and of course try your hand at gold panning! There is a general store next to the campsite for most of your essentials, and the campsite makes a great starting spot to explore the canyon, trails, and kayaking.

My fiancé and I had a grand time at Coos Canyon Campground. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The grounds were beautiful with the water rushing through the canyon always in the background. It was a serene lovely camping experience. Bathrooms were clean, showers were as well. I will definitely be making a return visit.

The entire experience was amazing; and it RAINED for our entire stay. The fully furnished cabin was our home away from home and provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay, while staying warm, cozy & dry between our outdoor adventures.

This was the best campground we have stayed at. It was so family friendly and quiet! The river was a short walk from our site and a blast to spend the day at. The bunkhouse was beautiful and clean! I would stay again in a heartbeat! The staff was super friendly and welcoming!
